Our clinics are carried out by highly experienced, caring, HCPC registered Clinical Scientists in Audiology with 10+ years of experience. Specialist skills and a wealth of NHS and private practice experience means you're in safe hands. We are trained and certified to remove wax using techniques including micro-suction and gentle water irrigation. A detailed clinical history and video examination of the ears is carried out prior to removal of any wax. This ensures that it is entirely safe to proceed and allows us to select the most suitable approach on a case by case basis. A quick hearing assessment is performed following wax removal, which is the gold standard protocol for wax removal as recommended by the British Society of Audiology. Expert guidance is then provided on how to maintain healthy ears and hearing for the future. Amplitude also take care of any onward referrals to GPs, Ear Nose & Throat Specialists and NHS audiology services as required.
